**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food handling and preparation meets health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Assist in meal preparation for special events or catering services as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
**Skills**
- Proficient in food handling techniques and knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Experience in the food industry, particularly within a restaurant or commercial kitchen environment.
- Strong skills in meal preparation, including chopping, cooking, seasoning, and plating dishes.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- A passion for cooking and a desire to help create memorable dining experiences for guests.
