As Alstom’s Communication Manager for the GO Expansion Program (specifically, the On-Corridor Work Project), you will report directly to the VP Communications, Americas and functionally to the Project Director. The objective of this position is to ensure consistent communications to manage Alstom’s reputation externally and internally to support the GO Expansion Program in close coordination with internal Alstom stakeholders and the customer. Specifically, this includes but is not limited to:

- Building and developing Alstom’s image towards external and internal stakeholders across the various Alstom scopes within the project;
- Promoting Alstom’s turnkey expertise and enhance its image to support the program and different project phases;
- Supporting local management and leadership in engaging employees in line with Alstom’s strategy, Alstom’s values and to reinforce ownership, pride and sense of belonging to Alstom.

External communications

The Communication Manager for the GO Expansion Program will represent Alstom as part of ONxpress and will assist ONxpress in supporting external project communications. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, defining and implementing a communications plan for Alstom along the different phases of the project in line with ONxpress’ communications strategy and:

- Create awareness for Alstom’s activities and provide timely information to relevant stakeholders
- Represent Alstom communication stakes within ONxpress and help manage issues, complaints, concerns and incidents effectively, while ensuring that Alstom’s reputation or position is not adversely affected or damaged, or minimize such risks

Internal communications

The Communication Manager for the GO Expansion Program will represent Alstom as part of ONxpress and will contribute to Alstom’s global and regional internal communications strategy to engage and inform Alstom stakeholders of the project’s progress. Specifically, this includes but is not limited to:

- Inform Alstom employees and other internal stakeholders of Alstom’s and the project’s progress, while developing pride and sense of belonging to Alstom
- Contribute editorial content to Alstom’s global and regional communications channels
- Mobilize and engage employees around Alstom’s activities within ONxpress and Alstom’s strategy and values as a whole (Grow, Innovate, Deliver and Agile, Inclusive, Responsible)
- Assist Alstom’s project leadership in communicating project stakes and information to project employees and creating forums of discussions with their teams as well as Alstom regional team

**Required profile**

Minimum of 10 years of significant and relevant experience. A fantastic communicator capable of writing compelling copy, generating successful pitches, explaining technologies in a playful and storytelling manner, managing relationships with external and internal stakeholders, securing brand and reputation, and clearly reporting on key results. Be adaptable and effectively manage priorities and potential crises. Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally. Demonstrate collaboration creativity, proactivity, and a high sense of accountability to make decisions and act.
