**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Qualifications**:
The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:

- Excellent organization, prioritization and time management skills in order to administer and coordinate the program, while supporting students, faculty and partners,
- Reliability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while paying attention to details in order to meet conflicting deadlines with accuracy,
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written are required to provide clear and accurate information to our students, faculty and industry partners with tact and professionalism,
- Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to successfully coordinate the program, support students and faculty and build and maintain relationships with our internal and external professional partners,
- Experience in higher-education environment with knowledge of academic policies, procedures, regulations and the university structure to provide accurate and relevant information to students, supervisors, faculty members and partners both within and outside the department,
- The ability to learn the several programs within the Department to provide specific advice regarding experiential learning opportunities in relation to the programs in order to help recruit and advice the students successfully,
- Experience developing and maintaining websites (using Wordpress),
- Demonstrated knowledge of current social media platforms and how to use them effectively to help promote, market and advertise the experiential learning opportunities for our prospective and current students,
- Personal initiative is essential to work independently, with good teamwork skills to work in collaboration with the faculty, students, staff and partners to successfully coordinator the program,
- Must have strong computer and database skills

**Education and Experience**:
The above is normally acquired through the completion of:

- The completion of a 3-year undergraduate university degree.
- Three years of related experience, including at least one year experience an academic environment advising students, with knowledge of placements or work experience programs and/or recruitment and outreach.
