**Summary of the role**

The Long-Term Care (LTC) Innovation Coordinator will be joining Bruyère’s nationally recognized health innovation team as we advance the development, evaluation, adoption, and scaling of healthcare technologies within Bruyère and across Canada. This role will directly support the CAN Health Network as the lead on the CAN Health Long-Term Care Innovation and Scaling Network, as we collaboratively seek to support the scaling of Canadian health solutions that improve the lives of LTC residents, clinicians, and operators.

Reporting to the Lead of Innovation and receiving guidance from CAN Health, the LTC Innovation Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of day-to-day project/program operations for the CAN Health LTC Innovation and Scaling Network. These responsibilities include working with diverse LTC stakeholders across Canada - Long-Term Care Associations, Canadian health care companies, Long-Term Care homes and CAN Health Edges - to identify opportunities to support the scaling of Canadian made Long-Term Care specific solutions to Long-Term Care homes across Canada. The LTC Innovation Coordinator will also coordinate LTC innovation projects internally at Bruyère and with our partners. After identifying opportunities, the LTC innovation will work with partners to support the project development and the coordination of the innovation projects.

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- Coordinating the CAN Health LTC Innovation and Scaling Network to help Canadian LTC homes evaluate and adopt Canadian made healthcare technologies that improve the lives of LTC residents and LTC operators
- Identifying innovative healthcare technology solutions from the catalogue of Canadian Health Technology companies that align with the needs of LTC residents and operators
- Promoting the adoption and integration of these technologies to LTC operators to enhance resident care and LTC operations
- Collecting and documenting CAN Health Network success stories and case studies related to the adoption of healthcare technology in LTC settings and working closely with communications team to share the success stories broadly with stakeholders, including LTC associations, LTC homes, and healthcare technology companies, to showcase the positive impact of innovation
- Providing high level innovation implementation consultation to LTC operators on the effective use of healthcare technology solutions
- Providing LTC homes and partners that we support with innovation advice and technology adoption guidance
- Fostering and leading a national LTC Innovation Community of Practice, by developing and maintaining relationships with LTC leaders across Canada
- Coordinating and growing the LTC Innovation Community of Practice, supporting partner LTC homes across Canada in their shared mission to adopt LTC innovation technologies
- Facilitating collaborations and partnerships to support the scaling of healthcare technology in LTC settings
- Collaborating with Canadian healthcare technology companies and LTC associations
- Coordinating the evaluation of technologies for Bruyère innovation projects, with a focus on LTC projects; from project ideation and development to project implementation, evaluation, procurement, and completion
- Supporting the budget and tracking of project finances, including completing reporting requirements for funders
- Adhering to the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Human - TCPS 2 and Personal Health Information Protection Act in the handling of confidential information, as required
- Additional duties may be added as projects progress_

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Business or Health Administration
- Minimum two (2) years of relationship management experience, preferably in LTC or Health sector
