Outside Sales Representative

The Sales Representative supports and develops our national and regional distribution as well as growing healthcare, long term care, BSC, industrial, and various other commercial customers with Vileda Professional Products.
**Responsibilities**:
- Sell Vileda products within an assigned territory, managing the territory as if it is your business
- Increase end user sales (particularly in healthcare, general building cleaning, food service, and hospitality) by promoting Vileda Professional innovative products into these customer groups
- Identify and acquire new customers in the territory via cold calling, prospecting, and developing new business, while managing current customers in the territory
- Create and present proposals to prospects and provide product training as required
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
- Ensure accurate reporting of key activities and update information in Vileda’s CRM database
**Qualifications**:
- At least one year of **business to business** sales account management experience, with a focus on **new business development**; ideally selling into relevant industries such as healthcare, education, facilities, etc.
- Prefer experience dealing with commercial distribution, healthcare, and building service contractors, as well as industry buyers.
- Experience driving end user business through a distribution network.
- Daily local travel within Greater Toronto Area. Overnight travel 30%. Will work remotely while coming into Markham office as needed.
- Comfortable with cold calling and new customer development - demonstrated entrepreneurial skills with a winning positive attitude.
- Relevant PC and Microsoft Office skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- Must be an independent worker able to self-motivate and create individual action plans. Constant awareness of business opportunities through analytical and creative thinking.
- An excellent communicator and listener with the skills to understand our customer’s needs.
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Markham, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
