The **Office Manager** portion of the role is responsible for promoting a positive office culture and maintaining the overall efficient flow of the office. This role will manage the maintenance and manage the operations for all office administration functions.
- Provide first point of contact for visitors, executives, clients.
- Maintain communication with all office contacts including Security, HVAC, IT/Phones/TVs, Cleaning Services, Electrical, Photocopier, Sign Provider
- Ensure the office remains well maintained and in good repair
- Receive and respond to staff inquiries
- Organize company-wide, corporate and internal meetings, events, industry conferences
- Book travel arrangements for offsite events.
- Other assigned tasks and responsibilities as requested to support a positive environment at Farm Lending

The **Employee Relations **portion of the role will be responsible for general tasks to ensure ease of transitioning into the organization.
- Support management team in employee relations
- Post and manage open positions.
- Responsible for onboarding new employees - form completion/orientation; system logins
- Schedule performance reviews between employee and their manager
- HRIS system maintenance - enter/upload information and forms; absenteeism tracking
- Health Benefits administration
- Employee Manual maintenance as advised by management

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Human resource experience is an asset
- High level of confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites and other office technology
- Experience with scheduling
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience planning events for internal staff and vendors
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Think independently to make decisions under pressure
- Bring in a flexible, creative, optimistic demeanour

**Experience** : Minimum 3 years experience in one of the following fields: Human Resources, Legal or Executive Administration.
