** Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Best Practice Guidelines Development**:

- Assist in drafting, editing, and finalizing best practice guidelines that align with RTIA’s mission and the needs of the professional and peer workforce.
- Conduct continuous reviews of national and international best practices to ensure RTIA guidelines reflect current standards and innovations.
- Maintain a repository of research materials, case studies, and tools for use by RTIA staff and external partners.
- ** Workshop Planning and Coordination**:

- Work closely with the Executive Director and facilitators to organize and schedule workshops, training sessions, and educational events.
- Manage logistics for in-person and virtual workshops, including venue bookings, catering, equipment setup, and digital platforms.
- Ensure all workshop materials (e.g., agendas, presentations, handouts) are prepared and distributed to participants in advance.
- Coordinate participant registration, manage attendee communication, and assist in workshop follow-up activities such as post-event surveys and evaluations.
- Support facilitators in developing and refining workshop content and ensure alignment with RTIA’s strategic priorities.
- ** Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Liaise with RTIA's community partners, including recovery professionals, healthcare providers, and government bodies, to ensure alignment with guidelines and workshop content.
- Foster relationships with workshop participants and other key stakeholders to gather feedback and insights that inform future RTIA programming and guideline development.
- ** Administrative Support**:

- Assist in budget preparation and management for events and workshops, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to best practices development and workshop coordination.
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and other RTIA staff as needed, including handling inquiries and communications.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, Education, Psychology) or equivalent experience.
- Experience in organizing events, workshops, or training programs, preferably in a recovery-oriented or healthcare setting.
- Strong research and writing skills, with an ability to synthesize complex information into practical guidelines and training materials.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in digital tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Office, event management software, virtual meeting platforms).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Understanding of recovery-oriented systems of care and the peer workforce is an asset.

This position may require occasional travel within Alberta and other locations for workshops or events. Flexibility in working hours may be needed to accommodate workshop schedules. Both in-office and remote work options are available.
