Payroll Administrator

JMP is currently looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our finance team. This role will be responsible administering the company’s payroll and expenses for our branches throughout North America. You will work closely with employees ensuring that timesheets and expenses are submitted regularly and on time, while performing other ad hoc accounting duties.
**What Would a Typical Day Look Like?**
- Payroll: Administer the Company's payroll for Canadian and US employees on a weekly basis; Review and ensure all timesheets are submitted on a weekly basis, follow up where necessary
- Review, audit and process expense reports on a regular basis
- Assist Accounts Payable with invoice processing if needed
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned
**What Qualifies You for this Opportunity?**
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline
- Knowledge of Ceridian Payroll System
- Extremely detail oriented
- Passionate about a career in accounting
- A polished professional with a strong sense of urgency and professional attitude
- A superior communicator (both oral and written)
- Knowledgeable at an advanced level in MS Office
- Dedicated and highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a demanding environment
- Willing to go the extra mile
- Creative problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to take charge and work with little supervision and guidance
- An ability to travel within US and Canada
