**About the Job**:
The Assistant Manager reports directly to the Program Manager, Supportive Housing Program and is responsible for scheduling and supporting the front line and custodial staff and well as for supporting the program manager with rent collection and other administrative duties as well as ensuring effective program/service delivery consistent with Atira’s mandate and which invites and includes the participation of tenants. You have the opportunity to work with the program manager to develop long-range program plans that meet Atira’s goals and objectives and to develop and nurture strong working relationships with partner agencies, businesses and other neighborhood and community groups for the purpose of creating positive relationships that benefit our tenants and Atira. You will ensure your work is conducted in a professional and efficient manner in compliance with Atira Property Management Inc.’s policies and consistent with the mission, vision, values and philosophy of our parent Society.
**About You**:

You are familiar with colonialism especially as it applies in Canada and you understand the impact of the residential school system. You are committed to working with people who are struggling with substance use and or mental wellness and understand and are comfortable working within a harm reduction environment. You have significant experience as a front-line support worker, combines with relevant education and or skill-based training. **You Have/Will be Required to Have**:
- One to three years front-line support work experience in increasingly more senior roles with at least one of those years in a supervisory capacity.
- A Degree, Diploma or certificate in social work, social services, public health, building management, facilities management or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education, experience and skill
