The Assistant Project Manager will report directly to the Construction Manager assisting with administrative functions to improve the efficiency of the construction document operations and management side of the construction project.

**Requirements and Qualifications**
- Post-secondary Business Administrative diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years experience in Project Coordinator role in BC
- Computer efficiency in Microsoft Office programs with minimum intermediate level computer skills including office 365, tracking systems, and accounting systems
- Knowledge of Blue Beam
- Knowledge of Jonas Premier would be an asset

**Organizational Skills and Reporting Skills**
- Monitor contracts and familiarity with CCDC contracts preferred
- All WorkSafe BC filing and monitoring
- Prepare site generated RFI’s for distribution to Consultants
- Track and log RFI’s, Update folder (digital and hardcopies)
- Distribute RFI and SI response to trades
- Assist Project Manager with Shop Drawing review and submittals
- Receive and file incoming correspondence and deliveries
- Keep track of documents including subcontractor bidders’ list and assignments
- Coordinate and attend designated construction and trade meetings, record and distribute meeting minutes
- Create and print signs for staff
- Support project staff with administrative tasks as required
- Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by the Construction Project Manager

- Team player to interact with all trades, suppliers, professionals and owners
- Communication Skills
- Directly communicate with project team members, including site superintendents, vendors, suppliers
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to interpret needs and express ideas clearly

**Technology Skills**
- Effectively utilize software such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Blue Beam. MS Project skills preferred and file sharing technology

**Attributes**
- Results driven, self-motivated and sets high-performance standards
- Able to prioritize and work under pressure to meet deadlines

**Reporting to**: Construction Site Superintendent & Construction Manager

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $90,000.00-$95,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
