Kitchener, Canada Encircle Full time

**Performance Marketing Specialist**

Remote - Kitchener, ON

Encircle is leading the $1.6 trillion ‌property insurance industry out of the dark ages of pen-and-paper processes, into the digital age of transparency and empowerment. Our easy-to-use software platform enables thousands of restoration contractors and insurance professionals around the world to process claims faster. We’re a remote-first company with a collaboration hub located in the heart of downtown Kitchener. We’re looking to add new members to our team as we continue to grow and scale

**About the role**

We’re seeking a critical-thinking and results-oriented Performance Marketing Specialist to join the Marketing team. As a Performance Marketing Specialist, you'll be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing performance of marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and ROI; launching digital marketing campaigns to develop new prospects and nurture them through our customer lifecycle — from unknown prospect to loyal customer. Your expertise in digital advertising platforms will be crucial in achieving our demand generation targets.

Your expertise in digital marketing strategies, marketing automation, data management, and process improvement will be essential in driving efficiency and effectiveness in our marketing operations.

**What you’ll do**:

- Utilize SEMRUSH to conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, site audits, backlink tracking etc.
- Identify target audiences and plan and manage ad campaigns from end to end, including campaign setup, targeting, budget allocation, ad creation, and ongoing optimization.
- Analyze and optimize campaign performance based on data-driven insights
- Identify marketing performance issues and pinpoint the root cause with the help of analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Effectively communicate complicated analyses by developing easy-to-use reporting or dashboards
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website and landing page traffic, click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, cost per acquisition (CPA), and return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Ensure accurate and consistent data collection, tracking, and reporting of insights to stakeholders, across marketing platforms and systems.
- Implement A/B testing and other optimization techniques to continuously improve campaign performance and drive higher conversion rates.

**What you’ll bring to the table**:
You have a deep understanding of digital marketing. You know how to interpret and communicate metrics and analytics to the wider team and senior-level executives, AKA tell the story of the data. You’re extremely detail-oriented, make data-driven decisions, split test anything and everything you can, and enjoy exploring new digital strategies and trends.

You aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and ask a lot of questions to uncover untapped potential and opportunities across our digital channels. You’re continuously evaluating and improving marketing operations processes, workflows, and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You’re excited to collaborate with an agile and creative marketing team that runs multiple campaigns per month.

**Your background and experience**:

- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Additional certifications in digital marketing or performance marketing are a plus
- Proven experience in a Performance Marketing or Digital Marketing role, with a track record of successfully managing and optimizing in-house marketing campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of marketing automation platforms, such as HubSpot, Pardot, or similar tools.
- Experience using SEMRUSH and knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, website performance, and domain authority.
