Marketing Specialist

**Employment Opportunity**:
Our Marketing Specialist plays a key role in the success of our business. The Marketing Specialist leads the development and implementation of marketing strategies that build brand awareness and contribute to achieving the growth objectives of the company. In this role,you will work alongside the General Manager to help grow sales with your marketing initiatives. As the Marketing Specialist, your focus will be on growing the business through marketing and leading the development of design, new media and graphics for the Roxton brand.
- You have expertise in running successful marketing campaigns (organic, paid & offline) over multiple social media platforms and google
- You can expand reach and get new customers with your marketing efforts
- You are a great communicator with a strong business sense and understanding of marketing tools and analytics
- You are super organized in your daily life - for example, you know where the things exactly are in your closet, kitchen, or house when someone asks you to find it
- You are a multi-tasker with ‘bring it on’ attitude and take initiatives
- You are ready to be in charge of all marketing initiatives and take full ownership and accountability
- You have already determined how to look up our company on Linkedin, other social media and the website

**Responsibilities/ Duties**:
- Development of marketing campaigns, monitor and report on results
- Coordinate and manage content for Roxton’s digital platforms and websites in alignment with marketing strategies (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn)
- Design high-quality, digital and print-ready deliverables for handoff
- Update and maintain graphics on all digital and web entities
- Develop content and create digital buzz every day across the platforms
- Regular blog creation and website updates
- Create high quality video and photo content
- Templates for all media to further enhance the consistency of the branding
- Oversee strategic paid social campaigns to drive brand recognition
- Pull analytics and prepare reports on a regular basis
- Ensure consistency of brand and creative across digital customer touch points
- Manage advertising and promotional campaigns, including identifying opportunities, coordinating the delivery of creative promotional material, and evaluating return on marketing investment
- Conduct market research to support the business units in identifying, assessing, and developing new marketing tactics
- Attend philanthropy events and other activities as required to assist with social media, and photography as needed
- Achieve and maintain sales targets based on efforts
Look for new and innovative ways to drive the business and increase sales and profitability
**Must Have Requirements**:
- Proficient with Google Ads, Google Analytics and how to react and tweak ads to gain new customers
- Social Media account management including ad campaigns
- Working knowledge of SEO and how to monitor and improve it
- A strong grasp on calculation and maximizing customer acquisition costs
- Social media and content marketing proficiency
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write effectively for multiple audiences, to deliver presentations and interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong Google Docs, Sheets and Presentation and project management skills
- Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Adobe CC Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat) or Canva is required
- Photo manipulation / enhancement
**Nice to Have**:
- Knowledge of UX design and motion graphics is an asset
- Experience with web design/development platforms like WordPress is an extra asset
**Salary: $50,000 - $65,000**
*Base salary 50,000 with opportunity to earn bonuses to bring the total compensation to up to $65,000.
**Education and Experience**:
- Education in Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising or similar field (required)
- Experience in Marketing and Sales Roles
