**Description**

The **Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning** is currently seeking a Full-time Regular **Digital Learning Platforms Administrator**.

The Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning seeks a Digital Learning Platforms Administrator to provide leadership in managing and supporting the University of Calgary's enterprise learning technology ecosystem. This role is crucial in ensuring our digital learning platforms effectively serve our vibrant academic community.

The Digital Learning Platforms Administrator reports to the Associate Director, Learning Technology & Design in the Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning, within the Learning Technology & Design Team.

**Position Overview**

As the Digital Learning Platforms Administrator, you will collaborate with colleagues to administer, configure, and provide technical support for essential learning technology platforms including Brightspace, Zoom, Yuja, Top Hat, and other educational tools. Working within the Learning Technology & Design Team, you'll collaborate with partners across the university to optimize digital learning experiences for students and instructors.

**Summary of Key Responsibilities** (job functions include but are not limited to):

- Lead the technical configuration and management of enterprise learning platforms
- Manage platform updates, testing, and change communications
- Develop and deliver training programs for faculty and staff
- Collaborate with IT, the Registrar's Office, and other institutional partners
- Serve as a key liaison between platform vendors and the university community

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, instructional design, educational technology, or related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience administering enterprise-level learning technology platforms
- Demonstrated expertise with learning management systems and educational technologies
- Advanced knowledge of platform administration, configuration, and reporting
- Excellence in communication and ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong project management and problem-solving abilities
