Manufacturing Manager

We are looking for a high energy Manufacturing Manager, with several years experience in the sign industry (or related), to administer and organize all types of projects, from simple activities to more complex plans.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Provide direction and leadership to the departmental team to achieve high quality productivity.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules, process quality, budget, inventory and data reporting.
- Maintain a solid understanding of health and safety regulations to ensure all employees adhere to guidelines at all times.
- Maintain adequate supply of departmental shop supplies and materials.
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment, tools, and housekeeping.
- Work closely with our Operation Managers to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, time frames and budgets for projects.
- Various coordinating tasks, like scheduling and risk management.
**Qualifications**
- A minimum of 5 years of production management experience. Strong working knowledge of CNC machinery and metal fabrication required.
- Basic MRP and computer planning systems knowledge
- Experience and/or training in lean manufacturing/continuous improvement preferred.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

- Cambridge, ON N3C 0H1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
