We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable/Administrative Assistant to join our accounting department. This position will be managed by the CFO and owner, and will primarily consist of creating invoices, general customer correspondence, and customer collections.

This role is full time, Monday to Friday (8-hour days) and can be worked remotely, although some in office days may be required. If you have computer equipment that you would like to use we can provide you with an allowance, or we can provide you with company equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Working with Jobber to manage outstanding jobs and converting them into invoices
- Creating invoices in Jobber and sending them to customers
- Managing aged receivables and following up with customers on collections
- Liaise with the CFO to maintain and reconcile accounts receivable regularly in Jobber & QBO
- Liaise with the CFO with some accounts payable tasks
- Liaise with the CFO regarding bi-weekly payroll and employee time management
- During down time or busy seasons, assisting the office dispatcher with driver organization and dispatching
- General office administrative assistance

**Qualifications**:
The following are not required but would be strong assets:

- 2+ years or more in a bookkeeping or accounts receivable role including invoicing
- Customer correspondence experience
- Experience with Jobber
- Experience with QBO
- Experience with payroll

**Skills & Competencies Required**:

- Very strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English).
- Good judgement to proactively and independently solve problems.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams).
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, as well as internal and external customers.
- Customer collections can be difficult, we need someone with strong communication skills to professionally handle collections conversations on a regular basis.
- As mentioned, some in office days may be required, must be able to drive and commute to Abbotsford BC when required.

**Compensation Package**:

- Starting wage will be between $23 - $25 an hour.
- If you have a great attitude, ambition and can prove competence in our systems after 3 months probation we would offer an additional $1 - $2 an hour.
