**The Opportunity**: We are looking for a great Receptionist / Administrative Support person to join our sales team. This role is ideal for someone who is personable, computer literate, can multi-task and wants an opportunity to learn and grow.

**What you get to do**

You will be responsible for answering and re-directing calls using our multi-line phone system, greeting guests to our office, and performing a wide variety of administrative and clerical duties supporting our Accounting department.
- Receiving visitors, customers, and business partners to our office
- Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls, maintaining phone system messages and greetings for required updates and changes.
- Receiving and sorting daily mail and deliveries
- Maintaining common areas - reception, boardrooms, kitchen
- Ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory, managing vendor suppliers for office equipment - toners, postage, paper, coffee
- Maintaining staff notice boards.
- Arranging courier shipments
- Manage electronic and paper documentation required in Accounting in our ERP system.
- Cross-training to support varied accounting functions.
- Accounting duties include data cheque invoices for accuracy (currency and amount match), accounting filing, supporting year end procedures for record keeping, reviewing supplier expired documents, data entry when high volume, maintain customer cards, review payment performance, support collection and follow up calls for payment, back up duties for posting payments and issuing statement of accounts

**What you bring us**
- A minimum of two years office / administration experience / general accounting experience
- Very proficient in adapting to new technology, ERP, CRM systems
- Excellent knowledge and working experience with Microsoft Suite
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Able to work independently within a great team.
- A natural curiosity to learn and understand our business.
- Personable, with an excellent command of English, both verbal and written

**Other**:

- We work out of a centralized office in Abbotsford - this is an “in office” position
