he role of Administrator for the Department of Engineering and Projects is to support the Department in a multitude of areas as required, however particularly in the following roles:

- Support Project Management and Team Leads
- Change Order and Purchase Orders
- Support Project Controller
- Procedures and Process
- Coordinate Project Details with Project Managers and Site Engineers
- Resource Management
- Information and Departmental Administration
- Coordination and Scheduling

This role will continuously build the strong relationship between the Department and the Safety, Health and Environment Department, the Maintenance Department, and other Departments such as Finance, Operations and Procurement through effective and transparent communications.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ability to be a positive contributor to a team of Engineers, Planners, Project Managers and Document Controllers.
- Demonstrate excellence in the safe and effective management of all roles and responsibilities.
- Effectively communicate/coordinate all work required with Maintenance, Operations, and other areas of Neptune.
- Promote and maintain a culture of cooperation and excellence between Maintenance, Operations, Safety and Environment, and Finance.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Strong planning and organization skills, coupled with ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities.
- Superior communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficient with SharePoint, MS Office Suite, and preferably JDE
- Experience in working in a highly fluid environment with a technical overtone.

**Education and Experience**:

- Highschool Diploma.
- Preference for completion of Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree.
- Minimum of five (5) years in an administrative role.
- Preferably experience in material bulk loading/unloading in a waterfront, mining, heavy industry, or similar operation.

If selected for onboarding, you may be required to undergo a background check and substance test in accordance with job site policies.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
