As a **Business Development Executive**, you will be responsible for developing growth in the company through increased sales, customer acquisition and strategic partnerships. You will prospect sales leads, contact potential clients, and nurture existing customer relationships. On our team, you’ll have the support to excel at work, and the opportunity to build a rewarding career.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve client retention objectives.
- Recommend and implement solutions based on analysis of implications for the business.
- Develop and manage strategies to develop successful working relationships with business owners & retail partners.
- Influence and negotiate to achieve business objectives.
- Help determine business priorities and best sequence for execution.
- Conduct independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet business objectives.
- Break down strategic problems, analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
- Monitor and track performance of accounts.
- Identify emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.
- May consult to or serve on various committees and task forces.
- Provide input into the planning and implementation of operational programs.
- Develop solutions and make recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide business context in the design, development, and implementation of business development programs and solutions.
- Work independently and handle non-routine situations.
- Monitor revenue achievement by customers and undertake appropriate action with key stakeholders to ensure that commitments are being met or exceeded
- Maintain complete and accurate records of all negotiations
- Generate reports on the performance of the different implemented strategies

All employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 7 years relevant professional experience in any industry and post-secondary degree in related field of study
- In-depth verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent negotiation skills to deal effectively with individuals and groups within and outside the organization.
- Great sense of responsibility and ownership
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills
- Able to identify problems and provide solutions
- Willing to work in a startup environment
