ShareWares is our newest venture and was born like a phoenix out of a pandemic pivot. **About You**:
You are kind, positive, adaptable, familiar with working in an open plan office, and don’t get rattled by distractions and interruptions. You shine your brightest when given a diverse array of day-to-day work. You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty and learn all elements of both businesses.

**Position Details**:
This is a part-time to full-time hybrid position, working approximately 30-40 hours per week, ideally spread over 3- 5 days per week, but the hours and days can be flexible. We would love to have you work from the office but there is lots that can be done remotely.

Our office/warehouse space is conveniently located next to the beautiful Olympic Village near Terminal and Olympic Village Skytrain stations.

Reporting to the CEO, the successful applicant will perform the following duties:

- **Bookkeeping Assistance**: Supporting our offsite bookkeeper with scanning receipts, making bank deposits, paying taxes, submitting payroll data, and making sure they have all of the supporting paperwork they need.
- **Accounts Receivable & Payable**: Paying bills is fun when it’s not your money Using online systems, you’ll pay bills and invoice clients with timely accuracy. You will also chase late payments from our clients when this is required.
- **Administration & Reporting**: From answering the phone to keeping filing systems tidy, to pulling regular reports to help the company achieve its goals, it’s these diverse extras that keep you going.
- **Human Resources**: Managing our employee benefits program, and assisting the hiring process by posting jobs, screening resumes and conducting phone interviews, and ensuring new employees are onboarded correctly.

**Qualifications/Assets**:

- Collaborative working style, easy-going, proactive, self-starter, and super positive.
- Demonstrated experience in handling sensitive information, financial records, office management, and/or customer service.
- Proficient MS Office Suite - intermediate knowledge of excel
- Very detail-oriented with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills; especially internally with management and staff members
- High comfort level working in a dynamic environment - happy to step in and assist when needed
- Calm under pressure, comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where demands can change in a moment’s notice
