**Description sommaire**:
Le titulaire du poste, relevant du directeur adjoint aux opérations de La Cité universitaire francophone, a comme mandat principal d’organiser et de promouvoir des activités, d’offrir des services destinés à accroître l’expérience socioculturelle de la population étudiante, d’attirer et de retenir des étudiantes et des étudiants et d’assurer la réussite scolaire.
Le titulaire du poste travaille avec le conseiller scolaire et l’équipe du recrutement pour veiller à l’accessibilité des services nécessaires à la réussite d’études en français : occasions d’emploi, activités sociales, ressources, location de casiers, mentorat, accès aux bourses et accueil et intégration.
Le titulaire du poste aspire à établir des liens entre la collectivité francophone et La Cité.
**Responsabilités**:
- Aider à la coordination de services relatifs au recrutement, au marketing, aux communications et à la réussite scolaire comme le tutorat, la location de casiers, les admissions, l’accueil et l’intégration.
- Mettre en œuvre des stratégies de recrutement comme la préparation et la promotion d’événements et d’activités sociales, l’appui à l’équipe du recrutement pour la tenue de kiosques d’information, l’organisation et l’animation de diverses activités visant l’engagement et la rétention des étudiants, l’offre de visites guidées du campus et de services d’intégration.
- Être le visage, le porte-parole et la présence de La Cité dans la collectivité, surtout auprès de la jeunesse fransaskoise. Être le premier point de contact auprès des étudiants potentiels et de leur famille, ainsi que des membres de la communauté qui souhaitent étudier en français. Agir de personne-ressource pour répondre aux demandes et questions relatives aux programmes et aux admissions. Guider les étudiants lors du processus d’admission. Entretenir des liens entre la collectivité et les divers partenaires de La Cité, notamment l’Association jeunesse fransaskoise. Participer à la coordination des inscriptions pour les étudiants internationaux.
- Prêter main-forte au conseiller scolaire et à l’équipe du recrutement, au besoin.
- Coordonner les activités avec les bénévoles, la population étudiante et les dirigeants communautaires, au besoin.
- Collaborer avec le gestionnaire de projets du service de facilitation et de soutien à l’enseignement relativement aux besoins du corps professoral et développer un cadre pour la reconnaissance scolaire visant diverses initiatives d’apprentissage expérientiel dans les cours et programmes.
**Position Title**: Student Success and Outreach Officer
**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Operations of La Cité universitaire francophone, this position’s primary mandate will be to organise, promote and host events and services designed to increase the cultural social experience, to attract and retain students, and to ensure student success.
This position works with the academic advisor and the recruitment team and ensures students have access to the services they need to succeed their studies in French, this includes employment opportunities, social activities, resources, locker rentals, tutoring, orientation, and scholarship access.
This position is a liaison between the Francophone community and La Cité.
**What you’ll do**:
- Assist with the coordination of services related to recruitment, marketing, communications and academic success such as tutoring, locker rentals, orientations, admissions.
- Execute recruitment tactics such as preparing and promoting events, social activities, assisting the recruitment team in hosting information booths, and organizing a variety of events for student engagement and retention, and give campus tours and orientations.
- Be the face, voice, and presence of La Cité in the community, especially with Fransaskois youth. The first point of contact for potential students and their families as well as community members interested in studying in French. This position is a contact person for inquiries related to programs and admissions and will guide students through the admission process. This person is the liaison between the community and La Cité’s partners such as l’Association jeunesse Fransaskois and may participate in the coordination of registrations for international students.
