**Business Analyst, Student Success**

As a crucial member of our Centre for Experiential and Service Learning (CESL) and Student Success Centre (SSC) teams, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our students. Reporting directly to the Director of Student Success, you’ll collaborate with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external, to revolutionize the way students access and utilize practical learning opportunities.

**What You’ll Do**:

- **Configuration & Maintenance**: Drive the implementation and upkeep of our cutting-edge university-wide student engagement software, Symplicity (UniHub/Career Services Manager/Orbis Outcomes). Your role will include daily oversight, monitoring, and ensuring top-notch data quality analysis.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration**: Engage with students, instructors, staff, employers, alumni, and community members involved in volunteer and service learning, providing guidance, troubleshooting, and support.
- **Integration & Efficiency**: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of Symplicity tools, maximizing their effectiveness, and generating innovative business solutions.

Position Requirements

**What You’ll Bring to the Position**:

- Education: Completion of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related discipline.
- Work experience:_ _4-5 years in a similar role.

**Skills That Will Ensure Your Success in this Role**:

- Strong knowledge of the internal systems that connect/interact with the new software platform, and be able to identify the effect of planned changes and/or unanticipated errors and upgrades to these related systems;
- Knowledge and skills of a Business Analyst that allows them to be able to liaison between end users across campus and the technical experts in Information Services or the vendor technical services unit;
- Strong knowledge of and be able to analyze vast amounts of student data related to experiential learning that is collected and tracked within the system;
- Posses and continuously update their knowledge of experiential learning practices, policies and trends in Saskatchewan, across Canada and internationally and how these changes could impact both the policy and systems related to the employment opportunities, volunteer opportunities and field placement/practicum experiences of students at the University of Regina;
- Able to work interactively with team members in order to maximize the effectiveness of tracking all campus experiential learning activities;
- Able to clearly articulate to stakeholders solutions to problems often requiring conveying comprehensive and detailed instructions;
- Able to listen to and interpret the needs of end users; and,
- Ability to present data and information findings, and provide meaningful context to operational Managers, Directors and Senior Administration.

Physical Demands

The incumbent spends long hours focused on large volumes of information.

Pay Grade APT 6 Salary Range $72,700 - $98,092 Annually Status Term Work Hours

8:15 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday and on an emergent basis.
