Canlan Sports Central East is currently hiring a Digital Marketing Coordinator.
**Job Summary**
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Coordinator is a key member of the marketing team at Canlan Sports. Committed to creating sports communities that change lives for the better, this role will demonstrate strong brand connectivity through our digital presence and work closely with Marketing and CX teams to improve and grow Canlan Sports’ digital presence, awareness, and loyalty by delivering relevant content to create the best possible digital experience for sports enthusiasts.
**Accountabilities**
- Project Coordination & assists with execution of all digital marketing strategies including:
- Social Media Coordination & Listening
- Content Research & Writing
- Influencer Relationship Coordination
- Monitor and track the performance of digital campaigns, reporting on relevant digital platforms including research & competitive analyses.

- Coordinate day-to-day activities associated with social platforms.
- Stay current on all trends & best practices of content creation.
- Analyze and report insights from social media channels.
- Actively engage with audiences.
- Strong video editing skills & ability to work with Adobe Premiere Pro.
- **Content Coordination & Writing**
- Execute content tasks
- Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure & tight deadlines

**Key Performance Indicators (KPI)**
- All digital marketing metrics:
- Social: strategy, reach, impressions, and CPC
- Google Analytics: SEO monitoring, Goal conversions, and general QA
- Social following and engagement
- Brand awareness & recognition on all digital platforms
Qualifications and Education
- College or University Degree in Sales & Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Media relations/technology, or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in a digital marketing role, sports and recreation organization, or similar industry, with a proven and successful track record
Abilities, Attributes and Experience
- Communication comes first. Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently across various channels, using tone of voice appropriate for intended audience.
- Enthusiastic with a passion for creative within the sports and recreation industry
- Ability to conceptualize digital marketing campaigns that are compelling while adhering to brand standards and buyers’ persona
- Excellent interpersonal and writing skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail with meticulous grammar skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize projects based on level of importance while establishing deadlines and workback schedules based on key project dates
- Driven self-starter, autonomous with capability to multi-task & function well under pressure
- Exceptional at disseminating key findings within the digital landscape
- Social listening skills coupled with thought leadership to provide comprehensive competitive analysis for bettering digital presence
- Proven experience using CMS, SMM, Google Analytics and project management software
- Deep technical knowledge of efficient content promotion strategies
- Flexibility to adapt to new technologies or processes and develop efficiencies for utilization.
