Title: Administrative Assistant

**Salary**: $55,208 - $59,593 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Standard hours, 37.5 hrs/week (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: Metro Vancouver Area, Sinclair Office (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, after October 2024.
Bargaining Unit: PSAC Local 22000 (Public Service Alliance of Canada)

**About the role**
As Administrative Assistant, you will - Provide a variety of administrative, financial, and program support services.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have/be - Grade 12, including completion of one year of post-secondary education in Business or Office Administration, plus one (1) year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

- You may have experience in;- Basic knowledge of First Nations communities and issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
- Ability to research and analyze information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of data entry, manipulation, and retrieval techniques using a variety of computer automated systems and software.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours.

As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
