- Coordinate the procurement of goods and services from beginning to end. This includes needs identification, market research, developing competition documents, facilitating the evaluation of bids, as well as awarding and negotiating contracts.
- Manage contract the contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, terminations, and performance in conjunction with partners and program areas.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Provide expert advice and assistance to eHealth staff and health system partners on effective procurement strategies and compliance with trade agreements and policies.
- Conduct analysis and develop reporting materials on procurement and contract performance.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of procurement and contracting policies.
- Develop relationships and liaise with senior ministry, agency, and Crown Corporation officials to facilitate procurement processes.
- Ensure that all procurement-related documentation is accurate, complete, and filed appropriately.
- Mentor and coach other procurement professionals in the organization.

- SCMP Designation is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of public procurement best practices, trade agreements and contract law.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
