Procurement Specialist

**Responsibilities**:
**Sourcing and Vendor Management (Supplier Relations)**
- Identify and source high-quality cannabis products and supplies from licensed producers and vendors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and timely deliveries.
- Identify and evaluate potential new suppliers, negotiating terms and agreements to secure favorable conditions.
- Evaluate vendor performance and quality to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company requirements.
**Procurement Operations - Finished Goods & B2B Bulk**
- Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs, specifications and priorities.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information with the use of internal systems and procedures.
- Streamline procurement processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Utilize technology and data analytics to make informed procurement decisions.
- Identify and pursue bulk purchasing opportunities with licensed producers and processors.
- Develop and maintain direct relationships with key stakeholders in licensed producer and processor companies.
- Negotiate favorable terms and agreements for bulk purchases, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate procurement and logistics for bulk orders, optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
**Market Analysis and Trends**
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and product availability to inform procurement decisions.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and new product opportunities.
**Inventory Management**
- Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Monitor inventory turnover and order fulfillment to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to manage inventory replenishment and ensure product availability.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in the cannabis industry or a related field.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the cannabis industry.
- Knowledge of inventory management software and procurement tools.
- Effective communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
- Excel at working independently with exceptional problem-solving skills.
**Salary**: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Purchasing in Cannabis Industry: 3 years (preferred)
