- eHealth Saskatchewan is seeking a new Director of Procurement to join our growing leadership team in Regina. Reporting to the Executive Director, Strategic Enterprise Management & Procurement, the Director will lead the fun, creative, and engaged procurement team in helping purchase goods and services that the health system needs. The Director of Procurement leads and manages a diverse team of professionals, provides expert advice to the organization, and represents the eHealth procurement function across the provincial health system.**Opportunity Description**:

- eHealth is a dynamic organization working at the intersection of information technology and public healthcare. The role is challenging and engages with a complex group of stakeholders and functions. This position has several key responsibilities including:
- _Managing the procurement team by:_
- o Creating a healthy work environment that fosters communication, trust, accountability, creativity, and fun;
o Hiring, developing, and mentoring staff to help them grow in their roles and careers; and
o Demonstrating leadership and management behaviours that build credibility, help the team work together effectively, and maintain employee e_ngagement;_
- _Leading the procurement function by:_
- o Providing expert advice, assistance, and reviews on procurements, contracts, and purchases;
o Ensuring the work of the branch is in compliance with trade agreement obligations and internal policies;
o Coordinating with privacy, security, and legal functions to collaboratively meet client needs; and
o Continually improving processes to increase effectiveness and client satisfaction.
- _Representing the procurement function by:_
- o Working to enhancing knowledge of procurement processes across government;
o Building relationships, engaging, and working with vendors and the local IT community; and
o Coordinating procurement activities with other organizations and supporting larger government procurement goals.- Progressive experience in delivering and supervising procurements, contracts, and purchasing, as well as working with related systems.
- Proven relationship-building and influence abilities with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
- Skill in assuming and delegating accountabilities and responsibilities clearly and effectively with staff and supervisors.
- Excellent communication skills that support problem-solving, collaboration, and innovation.
- Understanding of corporate governance and the delivery of corporate services.

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field and/or the completion of the Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) or National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) designations, and/or equivalent experience.
- Have 5+ year’s leadership experience in a same or similar scope.
