Performance Marketing Manager

**General Summary**
As the Canadian Performance Marketing Manager, you'll report directly to the Growth Lead in our London, UK office and play a pivotal role in crafting and executing high-performance campaigns across multiple channels.
This role will suit a hands-on individual with approx. 6 years’ experience or more to help drive our regional acquisition strategy, transform performance marketing, and will need proven experience in managing many stakeholders while effectively communicating priorities.
You’ll also be responsible for developing and managing paid advertising campaigns across search engines and display networks. You'll leverage your expertise to build a strong foundation for both brand awareness and lead generation strategies.
As part of a small team working across a broad range of activities in a fast-paced environment, the successful applicant will have to work to their own initiative and balance a variety of priorities within deadline, so a diligent work ethic is essential. The role is broad and varied so would suit a self-starter with high attention to detail, strong ability to work autonomously and good organizational skills.

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Plan, build and deliver acquisition & brand lead campaigns for Canada across all Paid Digital channels (Affiliates, ASA, Google ads, Meta, YouTube, Bing).
- Pro-actively lead in driving strategies and tactics that improve efficiencies and deliver optimization across the markets
- Drive strategies and tactics that improve efficiencies and deliver full funnel optimization.
- Build infrastructure and framework to drive both acquisition and brand lead strategies.
- Provide actionable tactical recommendations based on trends and key insights.
- Develop reporting and monitor performance of activities and campaigns as required.
- Actively participate in cross-functional meetings to contribute to the broader marketing strategy.
- Manage campaign budgets and optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
- Liaise with Group functions (legal, compliance etc.) to ensure all acquisition activities are compliant with local regulation and in accordance with internal policies.
- Support in managing the annual Canada marketing budgets ensuring it is allocated appropriately to drive both brand and performance.
- Implement best-in-class campaign UTM tracking, attribution modeling, and tag management for accurate reporting
- Manage the day-to-day optimization of the performance accounts: paid search, paid social, display, ASA and UAC, compile reports to inform stakeholders on the performance.
- Plan and execute experiments across acquisition, aligning with our Growth Lead, CRO Manager, Customer Lifecycle Manager.
- Provide reports on performance, learnings, and action points from each experiment. Sharing learnings across the team on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Other ad hoc marketing supportive tasks as required.
**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Liaise with other departments and Group functions (legal, compliance, sales etc.) as appropriate to ensure activity is suitable, consistent, and compliant with local regulation and internal policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across CMC Markets.
- Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, business, analytics, or computer science.
- 6+ years of experience in Digital Marketing with in-platform experience in one or more of the following: Paid Search, Programmatic Digital Display\OLV campaigns, remarketing or Affiliate marketing.
- Must have certifications: Google Ads Search, Google ads Display, CM360 Certification Exam, Google Ads Apps.
- Strong analytical mindset and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience growing, scaling and optimizing channels in a high-growth environment in a data-driven way, focused on both ROI and LTV.
- Proficient knowledge of GA4, Looker, Google ads Editor, as well as experience with digital reporting and tracking.
- Certifications in DV360, GA4, X academy badges are a plus.
- Proficient in SQL and VBA is a plus.
