Falcon Environmental Inc. (FALCON) is a growing, small to medium sized wildlife management and conservation company. We offer unique services to a wide variety of sectors including airports, landfills and many public and private organizations. FALCON is a world leader in its field of expertise, integrating ecological tools (e.g., falconry, canine teams, wildlife emergency response) and technological tools (e.g., drones, bird detection radar and software).
**Responsibilities**:
- Accounting: managing accounts payable and receivable, making reimbursements to expense accounts.
- Bookkeeping: working closely with the company's accountant.
- Administration: ensuring the company's social compliance with various government agencies (CNESST, WSIB, etc.).
- Copy editing: reviewing and correcting official documents, publications and reports.
- Record keeping: preparing and maintaining databases and documents.
- Reception: answering telephone calls, preparing and receiving mail and parcels for courier shipments, picking up mail at the counter and post office box.
**Profile**:
- Possess a relevant background in administration with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Show initiative and autonomy, rigour, resourcefulness, attention to detail and quality.
- Have a good grasp of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), QuickBooks (or equivalent) and be comfortable with the Apple environment (or be ready to learn).
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Are a skilled communicator, both verbal and written, in French and English.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various players, both internal and external.
