**ABOUT POSITION**

This position of **Regional IT Manager **is accountable for ensuring computer networks, including hardware and software, operate optimally and securely. Duties will also include technical and administrative tasks to ensure functionality and efficiency for all employees. The position will be based in Delta (BC), but will require you to travel at least once a year to Pullman (WA) and Monroe (LA).

**Responsibilities**
- Provide technical support relating to desktop, laptop, printers, scanner configuration and mobile devices,
- Install hardware equipment and software programs,
- Maintain network cabling infrastructure (indoor and outdoor). Repair or replace defective wiring,
- Install wiring to support renovation, relocation, or new construction including terminating wiring where applicable,
- Perform troubleshooting procedures and execute needed repairs,
- Utilize IT ServicePortal ticketing and Knowledge Base system,
- Run predetermined maintenance activities and communicate the schedule to others,
- Monitor system and network performance,
- Design procedures for the use of IT resources,
- Work together with other IT professionals to maintain IT standards,
- Assist in the implementation, maintenance and administration of systems use policies, security policies and business continuity,
- Assist local management team to improve reports and create efficiencies in data extraction.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Have a degree or working towards a degree in Computer Science,
- 5+ years IT experience with similar responsibilities,
- Certificate in network security is an asset,
- Knowledge in SQL an asset,
- Knowledge with PowerBI an asset,
- Knowledge with Microsoft D365 an asset,
- Experience with a global company would be an asset,
- Must possess a valid passport and driver’s license.
