**The Bread and Butter of the Position**:
**Position Overview**: Portofino Bakery is in search of a driven and detail-oriented Regional Sales Representative to bolster our dedicated team. This role, stationed in either the Vancouver Island or Lower Mainland region, carries the weight of managing a territory encompassing 30+ stores. Contrary to traditional sales roles, success in this position hinges not on persuasive tactics, but on adept execution of attention to detail and processes. While optimizing sales remains a priority, achievement is primarily facilitated through meticulous attention to process rather than aggressive persuasion. The essence of this role lies in proficiently managing product data, strategizing inventory, and accurately forecasting promotions.
Reporting to the Sales Manager - DSD our **Regional Sales Representative VI & Mainland** is responsible for:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Territory Management**:
- Manage a territory of stores, ensuring strong financial performance, program execution, and relationship building.
- Conduct structured check-ins with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) on a daily and weekly basis.
- Optimize store level inventory by utilizing data and trends to adjust inbound replenishment orders to accurately reflect near term product demand.
- Ensure stores are adequately merchandised including proper pricing, signage, shelf stocking is being routinely completed following the approved planogram and any other activities as required.
**Promotion Execution**:
- Provide data and analysis to Sales Manager - DSD to aid in promotional demand forecasting.
- Communicate upcoming product features to stores.
- Ensure store level execution, ensuring stores are displaying the correct price, additional displays are coordinated and implemented, ensure adequate replenishment stock, and report results to Sales Manager - DSD.
**Shifts and availability**:
- 40 hours per week
- 50-60k
- This is a full-time position

- Proven experience in field sales, preferably in the food or bakery industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
