North York, Canada AAPS Full time

AAPS College is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the administrative and academic functions of the College and ensuring the smooth operation of the office.

**Qualifications**:

- A university degree or college diploma in marketing/business administration or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative or customer service experience.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Knowledge of the Post-Secondary education and Career College system and an ability to thoroughly understand AAPS programs, services, and admission procedures.
- Experience working in a student recruitment capacity is an asset.
- Flexibility to workdays, evenings, and weekends as needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and data using MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Assist with student enrollment in various programs by answering questions and providing information about admission procedures.
- Schedule appointments and meetings for faculty and staff and prepare necessary materials.
- Manage and maintain files, documents, and other materials, ensuring that they are organized and accessible.
- Update and maintain the College's educational support software.
- Assist with student payments and revising invoices.
- Follow college policies and procedures, including those related to privacy and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.

**Flexibility is a must, should be open to workdays, evenings, and weekends (occasionally)

**Ability to commute/relocate**: Toronto, ON M3H 2T4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**: Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- **Administrative Assistant**:1 year (preferred)
- **Receptionist**:1 year (preferred)

**Salary**: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
