**Position Summary**

The Calgary Stampede Foundation supports youth of Alberta by providing dynamic programming and inspiring spaces to enhance their leadership skills, personal growth, creativity, and education. Our vibrant and welcoming campus connects arts, heritage, and education. Working with community leaders and philanthropists to ensure out western legacy is preserved for future generations. The Education Coordinator will help to continually improve the Calgary Stampede Foundation programs, developing strong youth for a stronger community.

**Scope of Position**

Reporting to the Manager, Youth Education Programs, the Education Coordinator is a member of the Calgary Stampede Youth Achievement Team. The Education Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the OH Ranch Education Program, education events and experiences and office administration. The position will also provide ongoing support for all educational programs, including Youth Poster Competition, Stampede School, Sam Centre Education and Journey 2050.

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
**Coordination and Operations**
- Coordinate the operations of the OH Ranch Education Program.
- Scheduling of classes and facilitators
- Nurture positive relationships with teachers, principals, students, volunteers, sponsors, donors, and other key stakeholders in the community.
- Giving and receiving feedback from fellow coordinators to improve practices.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the educational programs helping to root the Stampede’s education programs as leaders in the community.
