**The Opportunity**

SunMETA Group is currently seeking to fill the permanent role of a **Curriculum Coordinator** in **Calgary, Alberta.**

This role will appeal to curriculum design and delivery professionals with a passion for challenging traditional paradigms in support of optimal learner success and satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities**
- Support student success, working with campus leaders and instructors to optimally support the student completion of programs;
- Advance and evolve the college’s electronic and curriculum infrastructure, including managing the LMS, classroom methodologies, and the adoption of a new Student Information System;
- Support Education the development and timely completion of corporate/department initiatives;
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Curriculum on the development of educational and instructional policies and procedures;
- Educate, train and support instructors on appropriate instructional techniques and strategies for engaging learners by developing creative lesson plans, learning strategies and fun activities;
- Review current curriculum frameworks and industry/competitor offerings;
- Review and update curriculum strategies supportive of lower academic and/or language learners with a focus on foundation job skills and knowledge requirements for entry-level positions;
- Analyze, design, develop, storyboard, narrate, edit and build curriculum;
- Integrate interactive curriculum elements e.g. videos, audio-visual, graphics, gamification, etc.;
- Actively support new program design and submission processes;
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Degree (post-graduate preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience;
- Minimum 3 years of curriculum/instructional design experience;
- CTDP professional certification preferred;
- Formal academic training in adult education or related discipline;
- Demonstrated experience in instructional design including E-Learning;
- Knowledge of adult education principles and educational program design/delivery practices;
- Knowledge of project management principles and document/file management;
- Excellent organizational, analytical research, program development, program management, problem-solving, interpersonal, and writing/communication skills;
- Demonstrated people and coordination skills, with a customer-focused perspective and recognition of stakeholders; and
- Excellent interpersonal communication and team skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint) as they are used extensively in this position

**Type**: Full-time
