**Description d’emploi**:
En tant qu'Artiste de Niveau, vous serez responsable de créer des environnements de jeu visuellement attrayants et captivants. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec le Directeur Artistique et l'équipe de conception de niveaux, apportant une composition esthétique aux scènes tout en respectant des contraintes techniques strictes et des éléments de gameplay qui améliorent l'expérience de jeu du joueur. Ce rôle nécessite une compréhension approfondie des principes artistiques, un sens aigu du détail et une passion pour la création de mondes de jeu mémorables.

**Responsabilités**:
Collaborer avec le directeur artistique et les concepteurs de niveaux pour traduire les concepts de gameplay en environnements visuellement attrayants offrant des opportunités de gameplay.

Créer des mondes de jeu crédibles et immersifs en incorporant des éléments narratifs, du récit environnemental et une cohérence thématique.

Utiliser les outils de projet et les pipelines de création artistique pour mettre en œuvre et optimiser les actifs de niveau, en veillant à la performance et à la fidélité visuelle.

Travailler en étroite collaboration avec d'autres artistes, concepteurs et programmeurs pour assurer une intégration harmonieuse des actifs et des fonctionnalités du niveau.

Collaborer avec des équipes artistiques distantes pour garantir que le style visuel du jeu soit cohérent et réponde à la vision globale et aux objectifs du projet.

**Connaissances/Compétences**:
Au moins 5 ans d'expérience dans la production de jeux console AAA en tant qu'Artiste de Niveau.
- Connaissance d'un moteur de jeu ; Unreal Engine 5 est un plus.

Connaissance d'un logiciel de modélisation 3D (Maya, 3Ds Max ou Blender).

Expérience en modélisation 3D, texturage et éclairage.

Compréhension approfondie de la composition visuelle et des principes artistiques ; langage des formes, théorie des couleurs, etc.

Capacité à raconter des histoires à travers le récit environnemental.

Capacité prouvée à travailler avec des concepteurs de niveaux et à transformer des niveaux de boîtes grises en environnements magnifiques tout en préservant les intentions de gameplay.

Capacité à suivre à la fois une direction artistique donnée et des directives techniques.

Débrouillardise, adaptabilité, esprit d'équipe.

Une expérience avec un jeu AAA est considérée comme un atout.

As a Level Artist, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling and engaging game environments. You will work closely with the Art Director and the level design team, bringing aesthetic composition to scenes with strict technical and gameplay constraints that enhance the player's gaming experience. This role requires a strong understanding of artistic principles, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating memorable gaming worlds.

**Responsibilities**:
Collaborate with the art director and the level designers to translate gameplay concepts into visually appealing environments that provide gameplay opportunities.

Create believable and immersive game worlds by incorporating storytelling elements, environmental storytelling, and thematic consistency.

Utilize project tools and art creation pipelines, to implement and optimize level assets, ensuring performance and visual fidelity.

Work closely with other artists, designers, and programmers to ensure seamless integration of level assets and features.

Collaborate with remote art teams to ensure that the game's visual style is consistent and meets the overall vision and goals of the project.

**Knowledge/Skills**:
At least 5 years of experience in AAA console game productions as a Level Artist.

Knowledge of a game engine; Unreal Engine 5 is a plus

Knowledge of a 3D modeling software (Maya, 3Ds Max or Blender)

Experience in 3D modeling, texturing & lighting

Deep understanding of visual composition and art fundamentals; shape language, color theory, etc.

Capacity to tell stories through environmental storytelling

Proven ability to work with level designers and to transform greybox levels into beautiful environments, while maintaining gameplay intentions

Ability to follow both a given art direction and technical guidelines

Resourcefulness, adaptability, teamwork

Experience with a AAA game is considered an asset
