Change Communications Specialist

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm. The Change/Communication Specialist will primarily be responsible for creating and implementing change strategies, drafting corporate policies, as well as handling communication during corporate and technology projects project. This individual will also be supporting the HR department with communication regarding employee relations, changes in policy, internal branding initiatives and content management.
**Job Duties/Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement structured change management strategies/plans that maximize business and employee adoption and usage of the changes
- Provide coaching and mentoring of employees throughout the change process
- Create training plans for employees to understand and adapt to the new changes
- Provide expert insight and advice on handling change within an organization based on best change management principles and methodologies.
- Identify, monitor and assess the impact of change of the employees and adjust the plan accordingly.
- Create and deliver presentations to management that reflect the trends and direction of change processes.
- Create and conduct change readiness assessments of the employees, evaluate the results and present the data to management
- Develop material in compliance with the AODA accessibility guidelines and best practices
- Support HR department in developing and modifying existing policies and guidelines to adhere to current employment standards legislation
- Support Marketing departing with communications as appropriate
- Internal corporate branding initiatives
**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 3-5 years in a role of Change Management
- Previous large technology project change management experience, ERP experience an major asset
- Experience working with implementation consultants
- Post Secondary Degree/Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or relevant field
- Change management certification highly preferred (Prosci, CCMP, etc)
- Thorough knowledge of, and experience in, change management principles and methodology.
- Exceptional ability to solve problems and think analytically
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to liase with staff, management, and the project team to achieve common goals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
