**About You**:
As the Social Media Community Engagement Specialist, you have excellent digital, marketing, and communication skills. You will bring your social media passion and creative marketing strategies to our team. You thrive in a dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of social media strategies to promote Landscape Ontario’s GROW & Apprenticeship Programs. Your ability to create engaging content, manage social media accounts, analyze performance metrics, and meet the funder branding/communication standards, will be essential to your success in this role.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
As the Social Media Community Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering our social media accounts and marketing plans to ensure the sustainability and growth of our GROW & Apprenticeship Programs. You will create engaging content, manage social media accounts, and analyze performance metrics to optimize our social media presence. Additionally, you will create and monitor social media campaigns, assist with increasing program registration numbers, participate in industry events and initiatives, and ensure all communications meet the funder branding/communication standards. You will also collaborate with the team, supporting the Intake Triage Administrator and working closely with Landscape Ontario's Communications team.

**What You’ll Be Responsible For**:1. Content Creation**:
2. - Create engaging and informative content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Develop content calendars and schedules to ensure consistent and timely posting.
- Craft narratives around content to make it engaging and understandable for a variety of audiences.

**3. Social Media Management**:
4. - Manage and monitor social media accounts, including responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
- Ensure all communications meet the funder branding/communication standards.

**5. Marketing Campaigns**:
6. - Create marketing campaigns for social media, events, and initiatives, including content creation, scheduling, and promotion.

**7. Analytics and Reporting**:

- Track and analyze social media performance metrics, including reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate social media performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Effectively communicate findings and recommendations, both verbally and in written reports.
- Critically evaluate data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.

**1. Community/Team Engagement**:

- Engage with our audience on social media, building relationships and fostering community engagement.
- Respond to general comments and inquiries.
- Monitor industry trends and participate in relevant conversations to enhance our social media presence.
- Collaborate with the team, supporting the Intake Triage Administrator and working closely with Landscape Ontario's Communications team.

**Requirements**:

- Works well in a team for marketing, content creation, and strategy (a must).
- Previous experience in marketing & communications, or related fields.
- Social media savvy with experience managing social media marketing campaigns..
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and informative content.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Proficiency in tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social for scheduling and basic analytics.
- Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Brandwatch, or Socialbakers for in-depth analysis (an asset).
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace

**About this position**:

- Reports to Manager of Workforce Development, also works with the Director of Communications.
- Landscape Ontario has a hybrid work model in place allowing for flexibility and fluidity in your weekly schedule
- Some travel to work sites and skills training will be required
- Our office is in Milton, ON at the 401 between James Snow Parkway and Trafalgar Rd

**Salary and Benefits**:

- $62,000 - $68,000
