Office Administrator

A.H.M Designers Ltd is a prominent Ontario based business specializing in interiors, kitchen cabinetry and vanities. Our highly skilled designers and cabinetmakers can cater to all of our clients' custom interior and countertop needs. The Toronto showroom features a large variety of cabinets and real granite and quartz countertops. Our commercial clients, including retail outlets and housing developers, are welcome to examine the quality of our finished products there.
We are looking for an Office Administrator who has experience in the similar industry
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and coordinate daily office operations
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
- Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Assist with human resources tasks such as onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records
- Manage and schedule Third party transport for shipping as needed
- Oversee office maintenance and ensure a clean and organized work environment
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts as necessary
- Manage Shipping/Scheduling vanity orders and kitchen orders
- Maintain inventory level of the samples and ensure it is placed in shelves with labels.
Experience
- Proven experience in office administration or a related field
- Proficient in using phone systems, including transferring calls and taking messages
- Strong front desk skills, including greeting visitors and providing excellent customer service
- Knowledge of human resources processes, such as onboarding and maintaining employee records
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in team management, including supervising administrative staff
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks or similar accounting software for basic bookkeeping tasks
- Familiarity with vendor management, including negotiating contracts and managing relationships
- Knowledge of payroll processes and the ability to accurately process employee payroll
- Strong file management skills, including organizing documents both physically and digitally
We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
