- The Brand Manager, Shopper & Commerce Marketing is a critical team member to achieving this success as s/he will be responsible for assisting in developing, establishing and achieving the short
- and long-term shopper & commerce objectives and strategies for our brands.
The Brand Manager will be responsible for managing the development and execution of shopper & customer marketing strategy and tactics for the brands. The position will focus on increasing sales and market share by prioritizing shopper & commerce marketing activities relevant to the success of the brands.
- The Brand Manager, Shopper & Commerce Marketing will report into Senior Brand Manager, Shopper & Commerce Marketing and is a key member of the Americas Marketing Team.
- KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AND DELIVERABLES- Manage development and execution of marketing plans to achieve brands’ shopper and customer objectives across key accounts such as driving traffic, loyalty, conversion and basket size-
- Primary point of contact to shopper agencies, managing day to day relationships-
- Develop a deep understanding of the brands’ shoppers across key customers and channels, leveraging insights and data analytics-
- Manage business analytics (consumption, panel, qual & quant research) to drive brands’ shopper & commerce objectives across key customers through being able to translate learnings and insights into actionable recommendations-
- Help disseminate this knowledge base within the organization, and make sure it is embedded in the early phases of each (Sales/Trade, Marketing) plan-
- Work closely with Equity team to ensure connectivity across 360 brand activations via all Pull activities-
- Work closely with Sales team to develop strategies & tactics that Push the brands’ messages and products through the retailer to the shopper, maximizing our partnership and presence in key accounts-
- Responsible for the development and management of an Associate Brand ManagerSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential Criteria- Proven analytical skills and ability to understand and consider shopper marketing investment scenarios (e.g. plans, ROI analyses, etc).-
- Proven success in managing a broad range of shopper & customer marketing techniques/vehicles.-
- Ability to motivate individuals/team in pursuit of common objective.-
- Ability to understand, interact and work with variety of functional representatives and to elicit superior performance from them.-
- Ability to manage performance/coach/supervise others.-
- Ability to assess or analyze a situation and derive optimal path for action.-
- Extremely strong self-management and organization skillset.-
- Ability to exhibit strategic-level thinking, looking at the "bigger picture".-
- Willingness to travel when required.-
- Must exhibit a passion for the company’s vision, mission and values.-
- Experience preparing for Line Review, preferred experience presenting to buyer.-
- Strong understanding of what it takes to “win” in major brick & mortar retailers, including proven success supporting innovation launches.-
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior & shopper insights, retail dynamics, retailer media groups and digital media.-
- Leverage data to drive decision-making: Nielsen, customer shopper data, media marketing spend analyses, etc.-
- Maintain proficiency in social/digital metrics to provide direction on key tactics and optimization of campaigns in market, i.e. ROAS, CTR, CPC, CAC:LTV, etc.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Essential Criteria- MBA preferred with 4 years or more of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) OR BA/BS with 6 years of work experience in a similar role/function-
