PURPOSE:
Role will maintain current control and accounting operations of US legal

pladis entity to enable Corporate Controller to focus efforts on Godiva

Accounting Operations and Go to Market integrations

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Internal Control: Assess the effectiveness of the company’s processes and internal control structure and develop recommendations that improve the effectiveness, efficiency and economic value of a control or process.

Cash Management: Work closely with Accounting Operations Manager to supervise cash management activities Accurately forecast cash flow and ensure that sufficient cash is available on a weekly basis. Provide management oversight and direction for the Company’s Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Fixed Asset and Tax activities.

Annual Audits: Support Corporate Controller to ensure clean and timely year end conducted by outside CPA firm and audits conducted internally. Prioritize and implement solutions to address internal audit findings.

Statutory Reporting: In conjunction with external audits, lead the company’s statutory reporting in accordance with IFRS to meet the needs of affiliated shareholder at mid and year end.

Tax/Compliance: Coordinate the preparation of annual tax returns with outside CPA firm. Work with accounting operations team to ensure monthly and quarterly business, use, and excise filings are completed.

Payroll: Provide oversite of payroll function, reviewing weekly and semi-monthly payrolls.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Essential Criteria

Exp: General Accounting Operations and Financial Close, Audit Management, Internal Controls Sys: Excel, Hyperion HFM, SmartView, SAP.

Desirable Criteria

Exp: Consumer Products

Sys: S4Hana, OneStream, CPG Industry Experience
