**Minimum Work Experience**
- 2 to 5 years' experience in an administrative role.
- 1 to 3 years' experience in a human resources role.
- Experience with payroll processing would be an asset.
- Experience with Group Benefits would be an asset.
- Experience with hiring & recruiting would be an asset.
- Experience with an HR Platform Tool would be an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams would be an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 & SharePoint would be an asset.

**Education Requirements**
- High School Diploma
- Completion of a one-year administrative certificate or diploma would be an asset.
- Completion of a Human Resources certificate or diploma would be an asset.
- First Aid Certification would be an asset.

**Job Role Responsibilities**
- Assist with recruitment and hiring processes, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks and facilitating job offers.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, including preparing new hire paperwork, facilitating orientation, and ensuring all required documents are collected and processed.
- Coordinate annual review notices, calculations, and communication with employees.
- Facilitate keys, alarms, credentials, ID badges and equipment assignments as necessary.
- Support the performance review process by tracking performance goals and deadlines, preparing performance review documents, and scheduling review meetings.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
- Process payroll, including maintaining employee records, calculating and processing payroll transactions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Coordinate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs, including organizing events, training sessions, reporting and other initiatives that promote a more diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Maintain HR records and databases, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date salary guides to assess our salary market valuations.
- Facilitate employee performance management scheduling and reporting for Managers.
- Promote our various Wellness initiatives and liaison with our Health & Safety committee around Covid-19 protocols.
- Maintain our organizational chart and telephone listings including distribution.
- Facilitate our employee satisfaction collection and reporting.
- Assist with our Social Purpose initiatives with respect to Equity.
- Assisting in coordination of company team building and community initiatives.
- Liaison with employees to answer questions about our Policy Handbook, Job Descriptions and Employment Contracts aligning to applicable laws and regulations.
- Coordinating meetings both onsite and virtual, arranging catering, creating documents, agendas, and ensuring all resources are available, scheduled, and setup.
- Assist with other HR-related tasks and projects as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proficient knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, and equipment.
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
- Experience with interviewing and hiring.
- Experience with payroll processing.
- Experience with group benefit programs.

- Proficient discretion in handling confidential information in digital or print form.
