**AML Policy, Training and Governance (PT&G) **at TD, operates as a dynamic and global centre of excellence within the Global Anti-Money Laundering function. PT&G provides oversight, advisory services and administrative development and control functions for Policy, Governance, Reporting and Training. Roles in AML PT&G support the enterprise AML program with gold-standard training and guidance on existing and new regulations as needed.

**Job Details**

The Manager, GAML Quality Control, position reports directly to the Senior Manager, GAML Quality Control. The role holder is responsible for overseeing, planning, and executing independent quality control on the enterprise-wide Money Laundering (ML), Terrorist Financing (TF), Anti-Bribery/ Anti-Corruption (ABAC), and Sanctions Risk Assessment Quality Control program for TDBG.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Manage teams of specialists in performing quality control over the effectiveness of TDBG's enterprise-wide Money Laundering (ML), Terrorist Financing (TF), Anti-Bribery/ Anti-Corruption (ABAC), and Sanctions Risk Assessment ("Risk Assessment") program, in alignment with the AFC program QC standards
- Understand risk identification, risk analysis and risk mitigation according to the regulatory requirements and best business practices
- Develop strong relationships and work collaboratively with key partners in Global AML (particularly with the GAML Risk Assessment team), and other relevant key stakeholders in business segments and corporate functions
- Assist in the development of the annual test plan in alignment with AFC Program Quality Control Standards
- Develop and maintain a library of QC testing script for each of the identified control in scope for QC testing under the Risk Assessment program
- Conduct/oversee the Quality Control reviews in accordance to the annual testing plan with the team of analysts, provide assurance that work performed by the team is accurate and adequately documented
- Proactively identify matters which require additional attention, further escalation or review, and liaise with the appropriate staff to resolve
- Compile Quality Control reports based on results of the tests performed and issues identified
- Other duties, as assigned.

**Job Requirements**
- University degree or equivalent work experience
- Auditing/Accounting designation and ACAMS certification an asset
- 6+ years of experience in audit, compliance and/or project management
- Working knowledge of variety of products and services, systems, standards, procedures, laws, rules and regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities to ensure completion
- Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
- Ability to contribute to strategic direction of the function and provide advice to senior leadership
- Skill in mentoring, coaching and performance management
