Customer Engagement Project Lead

Responsible for collaborating internally and externally with members of the trade, agents, suppliers, associations and other external vendors on various projects and programs which bring our strategic plan to life. Leading the entire project management process for multiple and concurrent programs and projects and plays a key role as the first point of contact to engage the services and expertise of the Customer Engagement Group.

About the Role

Leads & Executes the Project Planning Process of all Customer Engagement Group Programs, Projects & Initiatives:
(30% of time allocated to this responsibility)
- Leads the Project Management process for coordination and scheduling of resources, financial accountabilities, and other key deliverables involved in our Customer Engagement programming
- Leads the delivery of large-scale programs and initiatives as well as smaller scale initiatives for both local, regional, and provincial execution
- Drives the creation and execution of project plans in support of the Customer Engagement strategy, programs, initiatives, and all related projects in the achievement of business objectives
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders and partners as well as externally with members of the trade, associations, agents and suppliers and other vendors in the development and execution of programs, training content, conferences etc.
- Drives on time, on budget delivery of small, medium, and large-scale programs and is accountable for building, maintaining, and driving the project timelines, and other key project deliverables (i.e., Project Charters, Project Plans, Microsoft Teams platform, Project Planning and Task Management tools, project status reports, resource plans, executive summary reports)
- Provides project specific support including, creating, maintaining schedules and assist with managing project tasks, stakeholders, clients, and target audiences
- Tracks project milestones and deliver timely update progress reports for Senior Manager
- Ensures all programs are on schedule, communicates updates with Senior Manager and intervenes where needed
- Creates and executes project plans relative to the recruitment, testing and orientation training of new Product Consultants.
- Oversees the performance of the department in the absence of the Senior Manager whether away on LCBO business, offsite, vacation etc.

Leads the LCBO Bi-Weekly Product Consultant Development Day Tasting Programming:
(25% of time allocated to this responsibility)
- Leads and coordinates the scheduling of Bi-Weekly Product Consultant Development Day Tasting Programming across nearly 20 locations for over 300+ Product Consultants, and 75-100 Site Managers including managing the selection, coordinate & delivery of products to be tasted, tasting supplies, and managing the selection of supplier and peer presentations
- Maintains, tracks and updates schedules and registration documents for all locations and groups
- Develops and implements communication plans for program updates/new scheduling etc.
- Responsible for the coordination of product knowledge education and customer engagement sessions/presentations for this program
- Develops and maintains an LCBO Teams Site for all Development Day programming, including scheduling, registration forms for all groups, program protocols, and reference documents
- Responsible for the coordination of the Train the Trainer (TTT) Site Manager sessions

Manages & Co-ordinates Monthly Product Knowledge Programming and Department Content Calendar:
(25% of time allocated to this responsibility)
- Develops and executes project plans and achieves key milestones, deliverables, timelines etc. for monthly Product Knowledge and Customer Engagement content, aligning stakeholders, writers/researchers, and other internal and external partners on goal achievement
- Creates and manages the department’s content/project calendar, assigning work to team members on behalf of the Senior Manager
- Plans and coordinates content for Workday Learning campaigns
- Responsible for validating and testing eLearning modules before launch, along with allocating appropriate timing for the various eLearning courses
- Manages and coordinates communications for period programming sent via the Retail Pulse
- Maintains and monitors project plans, project schedules, to support the Big M Calendar
- Organizes, documents, and follows up on important actions and decisions from meetings to support the achievement of project deliverables related to Product Knowledge and Customer Engagement Programming, Product Consultant Recruitment, Orientation, Conferences, Tastings, and participation at external events
