As the independent operator and administrator of the province's Workers' Compensation Act, we come to work each day committed to over two million workers and over 170,000 Alberta employers. We are seeking a dynamic individual with senior leadership experience to oversee the Corporate Services Department, which comprises a broad range of corporate administrative units, including Facility Services, Document Management and Corporate Security. The director, Corporate Services, reports to the Vice President, Employee & Corporate Services.
You would be responsible for managing a team of individuals who support the organization in providing a safe, secure and healthy environment for staff, clients and visitors across the province in multiple sites. Your responsibilities would include: developing strategic plans relating to the department; overseeing the development and management of the department and divisional budgets; directing security and space planning; overseeing mail, courier and filing services; contributing to organizational crisis and emergency response; guiding corporate event planning; providing advice and assistance regarding departmental plans and policies; along with recruitment and professional development for department staff. In addition, you would serve as a member of the Planning & Priorities Committee.
