**Work Arrangement**: Onsite - You’ll work primarily from an ATB branch, corporate office or client location, with some remote flexibility.

**As ATB’s next Director, Business Credit** you will be responsible for providing positive adjudication, profitable growth and management of ATB’s Mid Market Business Banking loan portfolio. Generally, this will encompass Diversified industry transactions up to $10 million. Support is also provided to other Mid Market Diversified adjudicators.

**Director, Business Credit Accountabilities**:

- Maintain a mastery level of knowledge in their area of responsibility and credit risk
- Ensure the policies, procedures, products or services they are responsible for remain current, competitive, relevant, and simple.
- Work within the delegated specific lending limits.
- Assume ownership of the adjudicated files and projects they have responsibility for.
- Maintain a positive partner experience 100% of the time and both our Service Level Agreement and Productivity standards.
- Provide client coaching and/or mentoring on transactions or policy related matters.
- Continuously adapting to the changing environment that they work within.
- Working collaboratively with other Credit team members and those within the Areas of Expertise.
- Develop or re-designing processes and products to be simple and effective.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years mid market/corporate lending experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience in the diversified sector would be an asset.
- Experience as a Relationship Manager or in a Credit adjudication capacity is desirable.
- Post-secondary education in Business, CFA, MBA or an equivalent discipline would be an asset.
- While not required initially, you will be required to develop a mastery level of knowledge of the industries and the policy/products/processes that will be assigned.
- The intuitive ability to balance a number of diverse transactions and arrive at a sound decision and structure quickly.
- The ability to identify and measure (both in terms of probability and quantity) risk and establish appropriate methods to monitor and manage.
- Possesses the leadership attributes supported by ATB (i.e., the intrinsic motivation and drive to excel; the ability to build sustaining relationships).
