**Job Summary**

The Human Resources Assistant supports and assists with administration of the day to day operations of the human resources functions and duties. Ensure adherence to Vuteq’s Corporate Social Responsibilities including, but not limited to, charitable donations and community involvement. This individual is responsible for supporting all human resource activities and accepting projects from the Human Resource Manager.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Support with scheduling and conducting contract/permanent team member orientations, as needed
- Community involvement; supporting team member engagement activities
- Corporate social responsibilities - charity donations and team member events
- Support team member engagement activity through both Plant 1 & 2 with team member relations/communication staff
- Support Quarterly Leadership Meetings with team members
- Schedule and conduct attendance review meetings
- Schedule and support HR department meetings
- Promote health & wellness initiatives
- Support with STD/LTD claim management
- Support Round Table Meeting activity monthly
- Support community and social events
- Member of the social committee
- Administrative tasks
- Support HR Manager & Human Resources Team as required, always maintaining confidentiality

**Job Qualifications**

**_ Education_**
- College diploma/University degree an asset
- CHRP designation considered an asset

**_ Experience_**
- Experience working with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

**_ Skills and Abilities_**
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as; safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before large groups of customers or employees of organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units or measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule

**_ Other_**
- Must have a valid driver’s license
