**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Experience and comfortable using electronic databases and software systems
Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects, objectives and deadlines;
Demonstrated knowledge of general office procedures
Pleasant, courteous and professional phone manner
Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational abilities and a strong initiative
Demonstrated excellence in working knowledge of English grammar, spelling and punctuation;
Demonstrated knowledge of hospital organization and environment is an asset
Demonstrated knowledge, ability in problem solving and creative thinking
Demonstrates a commitment to maintaining /enhancing competence through participation in appropriate continuing education activities
Demonstrated a commitment to participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives/Programs;
General good health and a level of fitness appropriate for the demands of the position
Willingness to learn administrative duties associated with Learning Management System (LMS)
Completes weekly payroll using Kronos system
**EDUCATION/TRAINING EXPERIENCE**:
Graduate of a recognized secondary institute of education - required
Completion of a minimum 2 years Community College commercial training or equivalent is required
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a clerical position - required
Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm required (will be tested)
Knowledge of medical terminology required (will be tested)
Demonstrated advanced computer skills are required Software: Microsoft Office Word, Excel, - will be tested
