School Travel Coordinator

**World Expeditions Schools** is a division of the **World Expeditions Travel Group**. We are committed to providing safe, rewarding & fully customized school group travel experiences that achieve real personal development for students. We aim to provide quality ground services, exceptional value, expert advice, unique itineraries and friendly service from the concept stage through to the day you return home.
**As a coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales and development of World Expeditions School in North America, which would entail the following**:
- Service new enquiries from schools generated through the websites.
- Liaise with operators on itineraries and pricing for customized programs with World Expeditions tour operators.
- Proactive in organizing an ‘event’ date where interested parties can come along to an information session (either virtual or in person) using an inspiring PowerPoint presentation that you will create.
- Provide schools with a risk management plan (using our internal templates).
- Maintain close contact with school organizers to monitor numbers and provide ideas for marketing support.
- Set up online bookings for those groups who want the facility for the students.
- Maintain close contact with reservations staff administering your group.
- Where required, conduct pre-departure briefings with groups
- Conduct debrief sessions following a group return to obtain feedback about the trip and start discussions for future trips.
- Marketing the brand image and positioning of WES and building strong customer relationships.
- Strive to meet the set sales targets
- Provide monthly reports and forecasts
- Maintain a target list of schools in Canada & USA that you will court for new business.
- Approach our current target list to secure groups
