**As a District Vice President**:
You will be responsible for providing Leadership and guidance to multiple branches within a defined region. This will include an understanding of branch operations, lending, deposits, investments, wealth, small business, and Member Experience while ensuring both security and safety in accordance with Meridian’s strategic objectives.
As a member of the Retail Experience Team, you will influence and execute the business plans of Meridian. You will oversee the implementation of business goals and objectives for Retail banking operations within a defined region and be accountable to achieve them through the Leadership of the Branch Managers. You will build, lead, and coach a team focused on elevating Meridian’s Member Experience and achieving annual sales and experience objectives.
You will be accountable to deliver on the Member Experience. “Bringing the Member Experience to life”. You will help identify Community partnership opportunities within your defined region and support the branch teams in ensuring they are the brand ambassador in their community.
You will work alongside and align financial strategies and activities to support Meridian’s internal business partners - Wealth, Small Business, Mobile Mortgage Specialists and approved external partners to ensure value added delivery of Member centric products/solutions.
**In this role, you will be responsible for**:
- Advancing Leadership Practices_
Lead and develop an engaged team of Branch Managers aligned to key business drivers and delivering on outcomes.
- Act as a trusted partner to build, develop and maintain internal relationships within the Member Experience teams and cross-functional departments, to ensure alignment for achievement of Meridian’s Retail Experience goals.
- Coaches and develops the BMs on all aspects of successful Member Experience Leadership, business development, relationship management and Member retention strategies.
- Ensures appropriate focus, integration, and relationship building with business partners in Commercial, Wealth and Small Business within the relevant district.
- Together with the VP and in partnership with appropriate corporate support partners, develop corrective action plans as required relative to branch operational/performance areas of concern.
- Working with the VP, resolving escalated staffing problems, and working with the assigned HRBP to ensure resolution within established procedures and guidelines.
- Ensures the credit union policies and standard operating procedures are consistently and uniformly applied across the relevant district.
- Support change management to continue to drive business results.
- Delivers district results against a defined scope of financial metrics.
- Develops and maintains effective organization of responsibility, including efficient recruiting, training, coaching, recognition, workflow patterns, performance standards, delineation of duties and responsibilities, resourcing levels in an ever-changing environment.
- Strategic Initiatives_
- Effectively shapes Meridian’s role, reputation and brand in the industry.
- Working with the VP, support and execute Retail strategies to ensure continued momentum across Meridian including Omni Channel integration.
- Responsible for cascading communication of the strategic direction & priorities of the Retail Experience team.
- Works with the VP, to champion and implement corporate strategies and programs for the relevant district.
- Accountable for participating in the development and implementation of business plans for the district.
- Partner with internal departments to support other relevant initiatives.
- Provides insight and feedback from the district to support development of future initiatives.
