Oomomo is a Japanese variety lifestyle brand in Canada. We are currently looking to fill the position of Import Regulatory Compliance Associate. Reporting to the Audit and Compliance Manager, the role supports the Import Regulation Team in maintaining current knowledge of import procedures and regulations, product registration and ensures the Company is compliant with import legislation, bylaws, policies, and standards in Canada.
- Assist the Audit and Compliance Manager to conduct regulatory assessment and prepare reports for submission to regulatory bodies
- Review and update the new external standards/regulations into existing Policies and Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and communicate pertinent information to related departments
- Review current product labelling and marketing contents in timely basis to ensure changes are being addressed and complies to government regulations.
- Coordinate various Internal Audit Programs and ensure all processes are well recorded and filed
- Respond to inquiries from internal/external parties, including regulatory bodies
- Other ad-hoc duties as required

**Job Requirement**
- Degree in chemistry, pharmaceutical, life sciences or related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of experiences working in regulatory or compliance with import regulations
- Having worked in retail industry (General Merchandise) will be in advantage
- Be detail-minded, able to work independently or work under mínimal supervision
- Strong English written and communication skills
- Understanding of Canadian import regulation rules is a plus
