Responsibilities:

- Prepare payroll reports and reconcile data to support finance and management decision-making.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Assist in year-end payroll activities, including T4 preparation and filings.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and payroll data.

Qualifications:

- Designated Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is preferred, or working towards this
- Proven experience in payroll processing and administration.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll legislation, tax regulations, and employment standards in Ontario.
- Proficiency in using payroll software (e.g., ADP, Ceridian) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with employees and various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mixed-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information.
